Each classic-sized cross is made of beautiful, handcrafted solid hardwood 8-1/2 inches high. Each comes with a matching hardwood display base which holds the cross and the colorful instruction sheet. They will provide a handsome and engaging conversation piece for the fireplace mantel or display table.
The Classic Cherry CrossPuzzle is made of quarter-sawn Pennsylvania cherry wood. Like people, who mature and change with age, it's warm, cherry luster will deepen over time as it turns more beautiful with age.
The Pocket CrossPuzzle is also made of cherry wood just like its bigger brother but is only 1/2 the size. This allows it to be carried in the pocket or purse so it is readily available as a conversation starter. It does not have a stand.
The Large Mag-holder CrossPuzzle comes with an arched stand 12-1/4" [311mm] high and three nails that will hold the clue sheet for the puzzle. These are only available in cherry.
The CrossPuzzle Display This lovely, hand-crafted stand allows the attractive display of th ecross in the point-of-sale area. It incorporates the empty tomb, the fish symbol and the flame of Pentecost.
The secret to the unlocking of the puzzle is sealed behind a seal that must be torn open. Don't worry! It is still a bit of a riddle that requires some additional digging!
Riddle # 1
The Solution to the Cross Puzzle lies in the following verse:
"Consider how the wildflowers grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you, not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these."
Luke 12:27 (NIV)
Try just laying the puzzle down and doing one of the things that those who are dressed better than Solomon do not do.
Then lift the top piece.
A lot of people have found this clue too tough, so I have included the Riddle #2 in the instructions so that everyone can now have the thril of getting the puzzle apart! ------>>
Riddle # 2
The steps to unlocking the Cross Puzzle lies in considering the following:
1) Jesus said that if He would be lifted up from the earth, He would draw all men unto Himself.
Jesus was lifted up on the cross and died there for the sins of all mankind.
(Stand the Cross Puzzle upright)
2) Jesus was laid down into the grave, taking our sins with Him.
(Lay the Cross Puzzle down)
3) God accepted the death of his son Jesus as a sacrifice that would cleanse us and wash away our sins.
(Spin the Cross Puzzle rapidly about its center as in a washing machine.)
4) But Jesus rose from that grave and triumphed over sin and death!
Now just lift the top piece!
If you still can't get the secret, the attached video will help. Don't do like my one friend, who was bound and determined to figure out the answer without help. After several weeks of frustration, he finally stuck it in a bucket of water thinking that may constitute the proper method for unlocking.
I would hate to spoil the exhilaration of discovering the secret on your own from the clues provided; but don't feel bad, if you need to watch the video:
